Shelf, organizer and wall-hanging installation planned around the item, the wall and how you want to use the space.

Give the things you love a place.

A plan for your home.

Working directly with Maz in Richmond, Midlothian and Chesterfield County, Virginia.

A shelf for books, a mirror in a hallway and an organizer in a closet each put different demands on a wall. Share the product and its intended use so the fixing method can be assessed for the actual installation.

Agree the layout before installation

A wide photo is useful alongside a close-up. Include doors, switches and nearby furniture so the location can be discussed in context. If several pieces need to line up, share the arrangement you have in mind.

Consider the finished wall

Old holes, paint touch-ups and trim can be part of the same conversation. Keep the paint name or product label if you have it. An exact match to an aged finish may not be possible from the color name alone.

What we can discuss

  • Shelf and closet-organizer installation
  • Pictures, mirrors and wall-hanging placement
  • Layout, fixing and finish planning

Scope, materials and any project requirements are confirmed before work is agreed.

A few useful things to share

  1. What will be mounted and what will it hold?
  2. Do you have a product link and dimensions?
  3. What do you know about the wall construction?

Before you begin

Should I buy brackets and fixings first?

Share the shelf or item first. The right fixing depends on the wall and intended load, so buying a generic set in advance may not help.

Can wall repairs be included?

Describe any old holes or damage when you ask. Maz can discuss repair and finishing alongside the mounting work.
