Deck & patio lighting
A welcoming deck, a softly lit patio, or steps that are easier to see. Start with how you use your outdoor space, then choose the lighting to suit it.

A plan for your home.

Plan separate places to sit and move
The light you want at the table may be different from the light along a rail or a step. Describe where people gather and how they get back into the house. This helps keep the plan useful without treating the deck as one uniformly bright area.
Consider what you will see in daylight
Channels, fixtures and cable routes remain part of the deck during the day. FIXABL’s published gallery includes LED strips inside aluminum channels with diffusers and a smart switch. The right detail for your deck depends on its construction and the finish you prefer.
